Idea Vault
Category: Concepts Notion: Idea Vault (created Sep 20, 2025), Sea of Ideas Summary: Brainstorming sessions, creative concepts, and experimental ideas Last updated: 2026-04-06
Overview
Jack maintains an “Idea Vault” in Notion — a brainstorming repository for startup concepts, product ideas, blog topics, and creative projects. It sits alongside older idea dumps like the MAGK Ideas pages and Jotion Blog Ideas V2. The sea of ideas is the raw feedstock for everything he builds.
Startup Ideas (public)
Jack has a publicly shared Notion page titled “Startup Ideas” — accessible via thejackluo.notion.site. This is rare: most of his Notion is private, but he chose to make this one public. The implication: he’s less worried about idea theft than about building a reputation for thinking well.
MAGK Ideas
Multiple MAGK idea dumps exist in Notion from summer 2025 — one from July 1, 2025 (“MAGK Ideas”), another from August 29, 2025 (“MAGK Idea”). These represent the brainstorm sessions that became the MAGK multi-agent workflow builder and the Agentdex CRM product.
HackGT Ideas
A separate document for Georgia Tech Era hackathon ideas (September 27, 2025 — during the Georgia Tech era). Hackathon constraints (24-48 hours, demo required) force a different kind of thinking than open-ended product development: what can be built fast and shown to a room of people?
Jotion Blog Ideas V2
Blog topic brainstorms from December 2022 — an early version of the idea pipeline that eventually produced 69+ Medium posts. The V2 naming suggests there was an earlier version before Notion became his primary OS.
Video Game Concept (from a dream)
A dream-journal entry from October 2025 became a video game concept: a hotel room escape game with relationship themes and a narrator mechanic. Still in draft. The premise — a hotel room as the arena, relationships as the stakes, a narrator watching — maps cleanly onto Jack’s recurring obsessions: controlled environments, intimacy, observation.
Future Kids’ Names (Feb 2025)
A personal Notion note from February 8, 2025. Jack brainstormed names for future children. Tagged “Personal” and “Idea.” Rated Bib Gourmand. This is the kind of document that belongs in a life OS — not urgent, not public, just the kind of thinking that accumulates meaning over time.
a16z Speedrun Application (Sep 2025)
On September 22, 2025, Jack received a personally addressed email from Samira Behrouzan at a16z:
“Subject: excited to see your idea!”
The email: a reminder that a16z Speedrun applications close Sunday at midnight, encouraging application even if the idea is early or mid-pivot. Jack’s Notion flagged this as “CRITICAL” with an importance score of 9/10.
Whether he applied is not recorded.
The Pattern
Every few months, a new idea dump. Every few months, one of the ideas becomes a project. The ones that survive are the ones where the obsession outlasts the initial excitement. MAGK survived. Agentdex survived. Delight survived — because it kept coming back.
