Jack has been to almost all major US cities and tracks every flight in the Flighty app. As of early 2026, his all-time stats represent a serious travel habit accumulated across hackathons, hacker houses, CES, Japan, and the nomadic startup lifestyle.

The Japan Trip
The Japan trip (December 15–30, 2024) was Jack’s most significant travel experience — 15 nights, likely including Tokyo and possibly Osaka/Kyoto. The sweets tasting photo below captures one of the cultural highlights.
Nomadic Period (2025)
During the Agentdex build period, Jack lived a partially nomadic life — moving between WeWork locations week to week, sleeping in offices. The “Vending Machine Dreams” essay was explicitly written from this period:
“When I move between WeWork week to week, when I am juggling conversations that pull me in five directions, when travel turns sleep into an experiment, the journal keeps me anchored.”
Flight Culture
Jack watching Chainsaw Man on a flight — the anime visible on the seatback screen, cabin lights dim overhead. This is the natural state: in transit, watching anime.
A red lobster plushie held up at an airport terminal — windows behind it showing an early dawn sky. Picked up somewhere between Boston and wherever next. The kind of thing you carry when airports are a regular habitat.
Next
From the March 2025 Jeff conversation, Jack’s next travel targets: Shanghai, Tokyo, Osaka.

Santa Monica’s wide flat beach on a clear day — blue sky, mountains behind the bay, the bike path running parallel. One of those California days where everything looks like a postcard.
Winter mountain hiking — black puffer, hands in pockets, walking toward a lodge with a snow-dusted mountain range in the background. Likely White Mountains, New Hampshire, or Vermont. The scale of the landscape against the solitary figure is quietly cinematic.
