MIT Era (2025–present)

Category: History Period: 2025 – present Location: Cambridge, MA Last updated: 2026-04-06

Overview

Jack arrived in Cambridge in 2025 through the MIT SIPB Arc Project — a program for exceptional builders working at the intersection of AI and systems. He operates out of room E38-379, the Agent School office. This is the chapter where the ambition meets the infrastructure.

The Community

A group photo from an MIT community event — Jack visible in the center of the crowd. The kind of density of people who are all building something that you can only find at a handful of places in the world.

The Office

Room E38-379: whiteboards, standing desks, glass walls showing Cambridge at dusk. Where the work happens.

MIT Rabbits

Classes

Jack attended startup and venture capital lectures at MIT, including Startup Financials and pitch structure workshops run by Pillar VC.

Startup Financials class — “#3 Problem: The vacation is broken”

A slide from the Startup Financials class: “The vacation is broken — Cost: Average $4k. Commute: Travel takes forever. Beaches filled with strangers. So much you have to do. 1 week out of 52.” The framework on the right asks: who is your customer, what is causing the pain, why is this a big deal. Jack was studying how to pitch by seeing how others pitched.

MITAS Founder Breakfast

A message in the MITBuilds WhatsApp community announced a MITAS (MIT Alumni Startup Network) founder breakfast on April 16 in Boston — limited spots. The same group where startup founders share tools and ask for feedback.
