Agent School
Category: Project Status: Active Location: MIT E38-379, Cambridge, MA Last updated: 2026-04-06
Overview
Agent School is Jack’s MIT-based project building AI agent infrastructure. It operates out of room E38-379 in MIT’s Media Lab / Sloan building complex — a glass-walled room that became both office and identity.
The name appears on the room’s door sign in handwritten text on paper taped below the official room number. Equal parts provisional and permanent.
The Room
Room E38-379 at MIT, taken at night — the “AGENT SCHOOL” sign on glass, dark interior visible behind it. This is where the work happens.
The room during the day: whiteboards, floor-to-ceiling windows showing the Cambridge skyline at dusk, a person working at the standing desk with headphones. The kind of space that makes you feel like the work matters.
Infrastructure
The project runs a full AI agent stack:
- agentdex-v1, v2, mobile, website — core product repos
- worker-vps-1 — 61GB RAM dev machine
(
54.205.100.7) - Coolify deployment on worker-vps-1 (agentdex.agentschool.io)
- Vercel deployment (rolo.agentschool.io)
- Paperclip at paperclip.agentschool.io — AI agent coordination
- Jackipedia at jackipedia.agentschool.io — this wiki
The “Get Grinding” Story
An Instagram story from early 2026: “If you are in agent school get grinding :)” — posted from what appears to be the Agent School office. The caption “Startup is resumed” next to a desk with multiple monitors. Practical and a little cinematic.
The MIT Rabbit
A wild rabbit photographed on the MIT campus brick paths late at night. One of the small surreal details of working until 2am at a research university.
